CircleIt vs BugHerd

BugHerd puts client feedback on a task board for someone to work through. CircleIt sends it straight into the Claude Code or Codex session that’s already open, so the change gets made and the client sees it’s done.

What you get with CircleIt

  1. 01

Feedback goes to the agent, not onto a board

With BugHerd, feedback becomes a task, and an agent reads tasks when a developer asks it to. With CircleIt, each send arrives in the Claude Code or Codex session already working on that site, and a terminal session or Codex thread starts on it without a prompt.

  2. 02

    The sender sees it’s done

When the agent finishes, the sender’s page shows Done with the agent’s note. Before that, they see it move from Sent to Picked up to Being worked on, so they don’t have to email you to ask.

  3. 03

Check it before your agent starts

Set a client to Needs approval and their feedback waits for you. Edit a vague comment, take out a mark you don’t want built, or reject it with a note they see.

  4. 04

The agent can find it in your code

Each send has screenshots of the marks and, for every element under them, its selector, text, styles, HTML and source-file hints. Text edits arrive as the old and new words.

  5. 05

Pay for developers, not team seats

BugHerd’s plans start at $42 a month billed yearly, for 5 members. CircleIt Personal is $9 a month, just you. Team is $25 a month with 1 developer, and clients and teammates are free.

Questions

Does BugHerd work with Claude Code?

Only when a developer asks it to. BugHerd’s MCP server, which is in beta, lets the agent read the open tasks when a developer tells it to work through them. CircleIt sends each piece of feedback into the Claude Code or Codex session that’s already open, and a terminal session or Codex thread starts on it without anyone asking.

Can my clients use CircleIt without fuss?

Yes. They accept your invitation, create a free account and add the extension, in Chrome or Edge on a computer. Then they circle what they want changed and press Send. They don’t need Claude Code, Codex or a terminal, and they see Done when the agent has made the change.

Do I pay for my clients?

No. You pay for developers, the people who connect Claude Code or Codex. On Team, clients and teammates who send feedback are free, however many you invite.

Can I try CircleIt before I pay?

Yes. Your first 10 changes are free, with no card, and they don’t expire. A change is one press of Send. After that, Personal is $9 a month and Team is $25 a month.
