Terms of service
Draft of 2 October 2026
Draft — pending legal review
This is a plain-language draft of the terms for CircleIt. A lawyer has not reviewed it yet and it is not a final agreement. Text in grey boxes still needs to be filled in.
These terms are the agreement between you and us for using CircleIt. We have tried to write them so you can read them in a few minutes.
1. This agreement
By creating an account or using CircleIt, its extension or its agent plugin, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use CircleIt for an organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to. CircleIt is a trading name of CHM Capital Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17466915), registered office 59-60 Russell Square, London WC1B 4HP.
2. Your account and team
- Give accurate details, keep your password and access tokens safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your connected agents do with it.
- Team owners decide who joins their team, including clients, and what role they have. Everyone in a team can see that team’s projects and feedback.
3. Using CircleIt fairly
Please do not:
- mark up or send pages you are not allowed to access or share;
- send other people’s personal data unless you have the right to;
- send anything unlawful, or use CircleIt to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- try to break, overload or get around the limits or security of the service;
- resell or share access to CircleIt outside your team.
4. Your content
Your feedback, comments and screenshots belong to you or your team. You let us store, process and show them only as needed to run CircleIt for you and your team. We do not claim ownership of them, and we do not use them to train AI models.
5. AI agents and your code
CircleIt delivers feedback to coding agents that you run, on your own computer, under your own accounts with their providers. The agent decides what to change in your code. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and deploying those changes, and for your use of Claude Code, Codex or any other agent, which their own providers’ terms govern. We are not responsible for the changes an agent makes.
6. Price and payment
- Each team’s first 10 changes are free. A change is one feedback send, however many marks it holds. Free changes are counted once per team, do not renew, and are not given back when feedback is deleted.
-
After that, sending feedback needs a plan, as shown on the pricing page:
- Personal: $9 a month or $79 a year, for the team’s owner only. Nobody else can join the team, send feedback or connect an agent.
- Team: $25 a month or $225 a year, including 1 developer. A developer is a person who connects Claude Code or Codex to the team, on any number of their computers. Everyone else on the team, clients included, can send feedback at no extra cost.
- Each extra developer on Team is $10 a month, or $90 a year on a yearly plan.
- Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars, through Stripe, and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Stripe’s terms apply to payment processing.
- The team owner can choose, switch or cancel a plan, change the number of developers and update card details from Billing at any time. A change that costs more is charged straight away for the rest of the current period; a change that costs less is credited to future invoices, not refunded.
- After cancelling, a plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
- Lifetime plans are a launch offer, sold only until the end of 31 October 2026 (UTC): a single payment of $129 for Personal and $349 for Team, instead of a monthly or yearly plan. A lifetime plan belongs to the team it was bought for and lasts for as long as CircleIt is offered, with nothing to renew. Team lifetime includes 1 developer; extra developers are $10 a month each, billed monthly until cancelled.
- If we change prices, we will tell you before the change applies to your next billing period. [Notice period, taxes and refund policy to be confirmed.]
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep CircleIt running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or remove features. If a change takes away something you rely on, we will try to tell you in advance.
8. Suspension and ending
You can stop using CircleIt and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is not paid for, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
9. Warranties and liability
CircleIt is provided as it is, as far as the law allows. Our total liability to you is limited, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data. [Liability cap to be confirmed, for example the fees paid in the 12 months before a claim.]
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
10. Governing law
[Governing law and courts to be confirmed.]
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will post the new version here with a new date, and email you about significant changes before they apply. If you keep using CircleIt after that, the new terms apply.
