Approve client feedback before it reaches the developer.
Approval is off until you turn it on. Set a person or a site to Needs approval, and their feedback waits for an approver, who can edit it or take a mark out, then approve it or reject it with a note. The owner’s and approvers’ own sends never wait.
Choose whose feedback waits
Per person, in Team › People, or per site, on the Projects page. A send waits when its sender or its site is set to Needs approval. Everything else goes straight to the developer.
- Approvers are the owner and anyone with the Approver role. Their own feedback always goes straight through.
- Automatic is the default. Nobody waits for approval until you switch them, or their site, to Needs approval.
Approvers get an email
When a send is waiting, the owner and approvers get an email that says who sent what, with a link to review it. They get at most one email per site every 30 minutes, listing everything waiting. The inbox shows a To approve count.
Edit it, take a mark out, approve or reject
On the review screen, an approver can rewrite a comment, change the new wording of a text change, edit the page note or take a mark out. Approve sends the version they approved. Reject closes it, with an optional note for the sender.
- The agent works from the approved version. The screenshots keep their original labels, so the brief tells the agent which marks were changed or taken out.
- Every step is on the record. The timeline shows who edited which mark, who approved it and who rejected it.
- Agents never see what is waiting. Feedback that waits for approval isn’t delivered, listed or emailed to developers until it is approved.
What the sender sees
Waiting for approval while it waits, then Sent, Picked up, Being worked on and Done, as for any other send. If it is rejected, they see Not taken forward, with the approver’s note.
